Class Descriptions

Tot Sign-Along™ 8 months- 2 years        
These engaging classes teach baby signs through the use of songs, movement and books. Help stimulate your child’s language, cognitive and social-emotional development in a fun group setting. These 45-minute parent/child classes are conducted in 6 or 8-week sessions.

Specialized Tot Sign-Along™ 8-36 months
Families who are challenged by Autism Spectrum Disorders are invited to gather and share in a fun, interactive play class.  You and your child will interact with peers who share the same needs and challenges in a safe, nurturing environment. This program motivates a child to respond through the use of:
  • music and movement
  • repetition, familiar activities
  • highly rewarding stimuli such as dancing, holding desirable objects
  • PECS and other visual prompts

Sign Language Seminars 5months +
These informational seminars teach you how to begin introducing ASL signs to your pre-verbal infant. We will review the research and benefits of signing with your baby and teach many of the most common baby signs. These 1 hour seminars are designed for the parent with or without child.
